As part of the North Atlantic, the North Sea is synonymous with unspoilt nature and challenging sailing in the ebb and flow of the tides. Hardly any other landscape offers so much variety. While mild temperatures prevail in the area influenced by the Gulf Stream even in winter and even palm trees grow, it can be more uncomfortable in the far north. The distinctive tides also play a role in this respect. The water levels are constantly changing, providing ever-changing views and fascinating insights into the otherwise invisible underwater world. But this is exactly what our expedition yacht POLARIS was built for. Be it to fall dry in the endless tidal areas or to manoeuvre in otherwise impassable shallow water regions. Strong winds and swell can do her no harm, nor can cold or darkness. Thanks to the perfect insulation, a powerful and redundant central heating system, a water maker, power generator and much more, we are completely self-sufficient and always feel at home, even in remote areas.

Our sailing trips with the POLARIS are active voyages in which the participation of the guests is expressly desired, sometimes required.
