The yacht

Our POLLUX is a Cranchi CSL 28 motor yacht equipped with 2 economical Volvo Penta D3-160 turbo diesel engines. This propulsion system is not only very economical and fun to drive, but also great for manoeuvring in tight spaces.

Security

The POLLUX has a German boat licence and has the corresponding safety equipment. A 6-person life raft can be hired if required.

However, the greatest safety aspect is the motorisation. Diesel is generally safer on boats and 2 engines offer a high level of redundancy.

Comfort

On deck, in addition to the two helm seats, there is a comfortable bench seat and two spacious sunbathing areas. A biminitop (sun canopy) provides important shade in the hot season.

There is also a small kitchen area with cooker, sink and fridge.

A cabin with a saloon area that can be converted into a double bed and a separate toilet room with seawater toilet continue the comfort below deck.

Performance

Both Z-drives are equipped with VA duoprops and bring the POLLUX to over 35 knots in smooth water. With reduced speed and correspondingly favourable consumption, the POLLUX still glides over the water at around 28 knots. The large tank provides a range of up to 350 Nm.
