With the POLARIS expedition yacht, specially built and equipped to our specifications, we are setting new standards in the field of organized sailing trips. Maximum comfort, safety and almost limitless possibilities are just some of the outstanding features of this very special ship. Our POLARIS – a Garcia Exploration 52 – was put into service in spring 2020. The construction and equipment leave nothing to be desired. Perfectly insulated and equipped with powerful heating, even cruises in icy regions are possible. But the POLARIS also feels right at home in warmer climes. A water maker and power generator as well as the solar and wind power system make us almost self-sufficient on our cruises. Of course, this also includes extensive safety equipment as well as a state-of-the-art satellite and short-wave communication system that keeps us in constant contact with home.

You will be accommodated in one of the three spacious guest cabins on our yacht. You can choose between two comfortable aft cabins or the particularly luxurious owner’s cabin in the bow of the POLARIS. It is entirely up to you and your personal preferences whether you choose the option of a berth with double occupancy in the respective cabin category or whether you would like to book the entire cabin for exclusive single use (1 person).

Sailing trips with an expedition character will take us to Ireland, Scotland, Norway and Iceland in the summer. In the winter months, we will travel to the Atlantic islands. The Canary Islands, Azores, Cape Verde, Madeira and the Caribbean. On our cruises, you will experience a maritime atmosphere, fascinating natural beauty and communal life at sea in a more than exclusive ambience. You will be safe and comfortable at all times while being looked after by two professional skippers.

Our sailing trips with the POLARIS are active voyages in which the participation of the guests is expressly desired, sometimes required. Nevertheless, you do not have to be an experienced sailor to take part in our trips. Accompanied by two professional skippers, you can always feel safe and well looked after. This also leaves plenty of time to simply relax and let your mind wander. Does this appeal to you? Safely underway with two professional skippers: Our POLARIS is always guided by two professional skippers for safety reasons and to ensure optimum crew support. Nevertheless, we are happy to actively involve the crew in the sailing maneuvers as well as the planning and execution of the trip.
