Sebastian Neumann

Sebastian has been closely involved with the water since the mid-1990s as a water rescuer, diver and boat driver in the rescue service.

When he completed the SBF-See in 2009, he happened to be on the SKS combination course and has been infected by sailing ever since.

This was followed by his first own sailing boat on Lake Chiemsee and a large number of sailing trips in the Mediterranean, the Baltic Sea and the North Atlantic.

With over 12,000 nautical miles to date, the German DSV sailing licences up to SHS and the LRC, supplemented with the SRC and the Yachtmaster Offshore of the RYA, his enthusiasm for sailing knows no bounds.

His speciality is the technology on board yachts, which is why we affectionately refer to him as the ‘yacht professor’.

‘As a skipper, I enjoy drawing a lot of energy from the diversity of sailing, also as a balance to my consulting company for energy management and technical systems.’
